In this ecosystem, there are many producers, in the water there are phytoplankton, on land there are grasses, trees, fruit trees, flowers, date palms, and much more. Because of this vast variety of producers, there are a lot of different primary consumers as well such as krill, fish, plover birds, rodents, insects, and more. These only get roughly 10 percent of the energy from the producer trophic level, so there are far fewer of these organisms than producers, however there are still more than in the secondary consumer level, which has animals like pigeons, crocodiles, doves, and birds of prey. These have even smaller populations than the other levels ad only get 10 percent of the energy. Decomposers like worms and bacteria return energy to the soil that the producers use for energy and growing.
